Wurden „regimefreundliche“ Bücher aus Existenzangst oder aus vollster politischer Überzeugung publiziert? Im ersten Teil meiner Arbeit werde ich mich mit dem Bertelsmann Verlag beschäftigen, indem ich zuerst einen kleinen Abriss zu dessen Geschichte gebe und die Untersuchungsergebnisse der „Unabhängigen Historischen Kommission zur Erforschung der Geschichte des Hauses Bertelsmann im Dritten Reich“ (UHK) vorstelle. Jedoch wird dabei der Schwerpunkt meiner Ausführungen auf dem Verlagsprogramm liegen, wobei ich eine Auswahl der von der UHK untersuchten Bertelsmann-Werke aus den Bereichen Theologie und Belletristik vorstellen möchte und versuchen werde, deren antisemitischen Inhalt durch entsprechende Zitate nachzuweisen und zu bestätigen.
